A view of the city of Cebu

This is a view of the city of Cebu from one of the taller buildings in the city. I remember counting buildings taller than 10 storeys, and I think my last count was 33? Gosh, I can't remember. But anyway, Cebu is not as big as Manila, but it feels just right. The mountains are nearby, so are the beaches. There a few malls, a couple of good restaurants, and just about a number of great indoor and outdoor activities.

So, enjoy the short clip!

Traveling and Food

A great thing about going to different places is sampling the food. It may be the local dishes I am familiar with, or exotic ones from far away places. I am fascinated by what variety of food that is out there.

This is a picture of "kinilaw", a raw fish dish, marinated in vinegar, coconut milk and spices. It is so good, that I can eat this with a huge bowl of rice, swimming in its sauce. This is one dish I highly recommend for those traveling to Cebu.
